Circus is Art 2019 | Byron Bay

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
All Primary schools in the Northern Rivers are invited to participate.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?
As a class, create a piece of Circus themed artwork. The artwork can be any medium and any subject as long as it’s about CIRCUS!

Submissions are broken down into the following categories:

Kinder – Grade 2
Grade 3 & 4
Grade 5 & 6

Remember, it’s one piece of artwork for the whole class so you will have to work as a team, just like they do in the circus!

HOW IS IT JUDGED?
Winners for each category will be selected by the community.
Online voting will commence on 15 July 2019, on Circus Arts Facebook page, and will finish at 3pm on Tuesday, 30 July 2019.
All submissions will be displayed in the Circus Arts Wet Paint Gallery for the community to view and vote!
Artwork will be judged on how the piece reflects creativity, team work and fun.

WHAT DO WE WIN?
This is the best part! You win a 2 hour circus and flying trapeze excursion for your WHOLE CLASS! Try juggling, hula hoops, tight wire, mini tramp, silks, low trapeze, pyramid building and, for the real daredevils in the group, the high flying trapeze!
Excursions can be taken any time before 31 December 2019.
Transport is not included.
