Circus Arts Byron Bay is the place to be during school holidays!

The program runs Mon-Sat during every NSW & QLD school holidays! We pack the programs with fun circus activities including acrobatics and a swing on the high flying trapeze.

Ages: Kids (5-11) and teens (12-16).
Skill level: Suitable for all levels from absolute beginners to advanced.

I was stunned to see them swinging upside down on the trapeze by the end of the day and they were just bursting to tell us everything they had done. Our school holiday programs are run Mon-Sat during every NSW & QLD school holidays! Circus Arts Byron Bay boasts a beautiful indoor venue with an incredible variety of apparatus to learn on. We pack the programs with fun circus activities including acrobatics and a swing on the high flying trapeze (for those who dare). We even have a cafe on site and an optional add-on lunchbox so everything is taken care of.

Choose from full or half day programs and extend by adding our special holiday options.

Ages: Kids (5-11) and teens (12-16).

HALF DAY PROGRAM

Duration: 2.5 hours (without add-ons)
Cost: $45 (without add-ons)
Time: Morning session (9.30am – 12pm) / afternoon session (2pm – 4.30pm)

What's Included

Each program teaches kids exciting new skills and includes the following activities:

  • Acrobatics
  • Tight wire
  • Object manipulation (juggling, spinning plates)
  • Mini and Olympic size trampolines
  • Aerial silks
  • Hula hoops
  • Plus a swing on a famous flying trapeze

Participants will learn circus in an inclusive and non-competitive friendly environment. We believe that kids learn best through play and we provide plenty of opportunities for that – our programs are a lot of fun!

What to bring

  • Comfortable, close fitting clothing, with pants or leggings that cover the knees.
  • Shoes are required in the venue but will not be worn while participating in classes.
  • A water bottle.
  • Please tie back long hair and wear minimal jewellery (rings and bracelets will need to be removed for the duration of the class).
  • Do not bring valuables to the venue, as their security cannot be guaranteed while classes are in progress.

Cancellations

Drop-in classes – a minimum 3-day notice is required to reschedule a class.

Term classes – no make-up classes are available. Term classes can not be rescheduled as they are offered at a highly reduced price. If you would like the flexibility of being able to reschedule a class, please purchase 10/15 class pack.

FAQs

  • Use your Active or Creative Kids voucher – full day holiday program.
  • Lunch break is from 12pm to 12.30pm – 15 min snack break included.
  • Lunch & snacks are not included – but you can order both as optional add-ons.
  • Activities & Games are included with the full day program from 12.30 to 2pm.
  • Drop-off and Pick-up times will differ if choosing add-on lunch or activities.

ACTIVE & CREATIVE KIDS VOUCHERS

Circus Arts is a registered provider for Active & Creative Kids rebate programs.

Active and Creative Kids Vouchers can be used towards term classes in Byron Bay and towards an 8-week flying trapeze course in Sydney. Creative Kids Vouchers can be used towards full day school holiday programs in Byron Bay and Sydney.

Please note: Creative kids vouchers are not valid with any Gymnastics or Trampoline classes.
