Flying trapeze is suitable for all ages and levels of experience. Beginners and advanced students can join the same flying trapeze class, adults and children too! Bring the whole family and everyone will be entertained 🙂

First time flying?

Circus Arts’ experienced fly coaches will take you through all the steps and teach you the correct technique to perform various tricks. Flying trapeze is an amazing activity that is so much fun, you don’t even feel like you are working out.

An absolutely amazing experience for the whole family. The staff were super friendly and encouraging for all levels. We had a blast. I cannot recommend this enough for a family activity or a fun day out for adults or kids. Spectators and participants could easily watch and video each other. We learned lots of skills, 3 different jumps were covered in the lesson.

Active & Creative Kids Vouchers

Duration

Approximately 1.5 hours.

Participants

Suitable for 5 years and over. Groups are of mixed ages and abilities. Each participant can work on their own trick and progress individually.

Prerequisites

Flying trapeze weight restrictions – up to 100 kg.
Participants need to be able to hold their body weight on the bar.

WHAT TO BRING

Your booking confirmation
Comfortable, close fitting clothing, with pants or leggings that cover the knees
Be sun smart – the trapeze is an OUTDOOR rig, therefore sunscreen is a must, as well as sunglasses and hat during waiting periods
Shoes are required in the venue but will not be worn while participating in classes
A water bottle
You may wish to bring snacks for waiting periods
Please tie back long hair and wear minimal jewellery
Do not bring valuables to the venue, as their security cannot be guaranteed while classes are in progress
Chalk bags are available for purchase – $5 each

Outdoor Location

This location is outdoors so classes will be affected by wet weather. In the case of rain, our local instructors will decide on the day whether the class will go ahead. We aim to give participants as much notice as possible on the day if classes need to be cancelled and rescheduled.

Flying Trapeze Pricing

Flying Trapeze – Single Class – $68

Classes are scheduled on weekends all year round and daily during NSW school holidays. All ages (5+). All levels.

Book Casual Class

Flying Trapeze – 8 week course – $272

Intermediate/Adv Flying Trapeze – Single Class – $68

A special intermediate class for teens and adults, experienced flyers or dedicated intermediate flyers. This class teaches flying out of lines, nailing back end tricks such as splits, straddles and whips and breaking tricks such as layouts and doubles.

Intermediate/Frequent Flyers. Every Saturday at 9am, except for when the 5 week int/adv course is running.

Book Casual Int/Adv Class

ADVANCED FLYING TRAPEZE – 5 WEEK COURSE – $235

A special advanced class for teens and adults, experienced flyers or dedicated intermediate flyers. This class teaches flying out of lines, nailing back end tricks such as splits, straddles and whips and breaking tricks such as layouts and doubles.

5 consecutive weeks of flying trapeze. Only $45 per class. Sessions can not be transferred to another person.

Book Int/Adv 5 Week Course

Flying Trapeze – 10 Pack – $380

Save $30 per class. Valid for 6 months from purchase date for any single class of your choice. Sessions can not be transferred to another person.

Flying Trapeze – 15 Pack – $495

Save $35 per class. Valid for 6 months from purchase date for any single class of your choice. Sessions can not be transferred to another person.

Circus Arts Sydney Venue Information

A SWEET DEAL

All flying trapeze and circus classes include access to Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre and 4 hours parking in P2. All Circus Arts participants should report to the reception desk at the Aquatic Centre for access. Follow the signs to find us out the back! This venue is wheelchair friendly.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

Participants are welcome to contact Circus Arts to check if their class is running as scheduled. In the case of a cancellation, all participants will be contacted on the phone number provided at the time of booking. Participants may re-schedule any classes cancelled due to wet weather.

SPECTATOR FEE

Anyone not participating in a class or party will be charged a $4.60 spectator fee to enter the Aquatic Centre. Should spectators wish to use the Aquatic Centre facilities, the standard entry fee will apply.

Circus Arts is a registered provider for the Active & Creative Kids program in NSW. Active or Creative Kids vouchers can be used towards the 8 Week Flying Trapeze course.
