Aerials (Levels Program)

Term 1: 3 February – 11th April
Term 2: 27 April – 4 July
Term 3: 20 July – 26 September
Term 4: 12 October – 19 December

Students who show dedication and talent in the Circus Play classes or who have previous complimentary training are invited to join the Foundations class to advance their skill set in preparation for performance.

Aerial Foundations is the first level aerial stream focusing on silks, lyra and static trapeze. Students will develop the basic skills on these apparatuses as well as focus on building the strength, flexibility and aerial awareness required for the higher level skills.

Aerials Intermediate/ADVANCED

Students who have passed Level 1 and 2 in Aerial Foundations are invited to move to up to the Intermediate/Advanced levels, where they will further progress their aerial skills. This program offers an opportunity to attend 2 classes a week to get the best results out of the training. Participants will now develop more advanced tricks, create routines and develop performance quality. In the intermediate/advanced class they will progress through levels 3 to 5 with the aim of eventually joining the Aerials Performance Troupe.
